Who are we?

Woodward Spanish

Woodward Spanish is one of the educational branches belonging to the Woodward Chile group of companies. Woodward Chile is a family owned and run organization that has been in Chile since 2001.

After 10 years of incredible success with their Spanish Language school in Las Condes, Santiago, the owners went into retirement at age 40 (yes - that number is correct and the Spanish school was only one of their companies). Now, when they are not travelling or spending quality time with their children, they love learning new things and also helping other people learn languages for free.

Why was the Woodward Spanish School so successful?

We take pride in the quality of everything we do. Almost all of our Spanish students came by recommendation since we went out of our way to make our students' experiences here in Chile positive and rewarding ones. Over the 10 years we never had a single salesperson or agent, and that says something about its quality, doesn't it?

We ourselves have vast experience learning other languages and being in a country where we didn't know their language. We know exactly what it's like to be in this type of situation and the types of things you need to know in order to get by (and basically survive without getting into too much trouble).

That's why what we teach you here is what you really need to know in order to get by and enjoy your time in a Spanish-speaking country. We also include information which often cannot be found in a typical Spanish book.
