Ping Pong Championship

The supporting crowd up in the stadium seating can get quite unruly as can be seen. I didn't think Pisco was allowed in the stadiums. Fortunately we didn't have any streakers ... this time.

In the warm-up area before entering the championship grounds either they are talking about strategic tactics of their opponents or they're debating what pub they plan to go to afterwards. No prize for guessing that one correctly.

Kazuki from Japan vs. Jeannie from New Zealand. Jeannie has spent a number of months/years in Japan so there were some comments made in Japanese with the resulting (shocked) giggles which of course the rest didn't understand.

The official prize giving ceremony of Rob handing over the 'COPA' to Wagner from Brazil, the champion for January 2008. As per tradition, the winner had to drink from the same 'cup' full of whatever we put in it. This time we had run out of alcohol so he was quite lucky.
